Due to our clients exciting growth plans, we are looking for a proactive, creative and highly organised Content Marketing & Communications Executive to join a busy marketing team to successfully deliver the overall marketing strategies for multiple brands within the company's portfolio of businesses.
The successful applicant will support the Marketing Manager by creating and distributing engaging content (website, social media and email) to build our brands’ online presence, drive engagement and assisting with PR activities and marketing goals, blending creative writing/design with strategy, analytics, and SEO.
Supporting the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Marketing Assistant, you will be tasked with the following:
Main Responsibilities:- Support the Marketing Manager in delivering marketing activities and implementing strategies across multiple brands.
- Proactively identify marketing opportunities across digital and traditional channels for multiple brands.
- Monitor and develop social media channels and websites for multiple brands.
- Provide engaging content and campaign ideas for LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media channels.
- Coordinate the planning and scheduling of social media content with Marketing Assistant for multiple brands using social media management tools.
- Suggest ideas for campaigns, blogs and news articles and identify opportunities to create new content.
- Review content and monitor engagement across websites for multiple brands.
- Make recommendations for content and developments to websites for multiple brands.
- Write blogs, articles, and website content, for multiple brands.
- Coordinate and deliver email marketing campaigns using MailChimp.
- Generate creative ideas for campaigns, news stories and content opportunities.
- Support PR activities including creating and publishing Media Releases, placing adverts, securing advertorial and backlinks etc.
- Support the Marketing Manager in reporting on marketing information.
- Support the Marketing Manager with internal communications activities and wider marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Senior Designer where design is required to support marketing activities.
- Review and identify process improvements for the Marketing Team.
- Ensure all creative output is of the highest quality and adheres to brand identity and guidelines in a consistent manner.
Qualifications and experience:- At least 2 years’ experience in a content creation/marketing role.
- Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Media, or similar.
- Previous omni-channel and digital marketing experience.
- Full UK driving license and access to private transport.
Required skills:- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in use of digital channels for business – social media, website, email.
- Familiar with WordPress for website content management.
- Familiar with use of MailChimp or similar software for email campaigns.
- Confident to contribute creative ideas to the wider team.
- Organised with high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to travel to events and undertake some unsocial hours (time off in lieu is provided).
- Understanding of Hootsuite or similar social media scheduling software would be beneficial.
- Previous experience of working in a B2B business and or the events sector would be useful.
