We are currently recruiting Production Operatives with forklift experience to join a growing manufacturing team. These roles are based in a factory environment, producing materials for the construction industry. There will be a mix of day shifts and rotating shifts available.
Some degree of manufacturing / machine operating experience is essential, or at the very least, material handling within a production facility.
The ability to operate the MHE (FLT) yourself would make your application significantly more attractive.
 
Available Roles:

• 2 x PM Shift Operative
• 3 x Day Operative (Area may vary but shift pattern remains the same)

Working Hours:
All roles are full-time, 42 hours per week (includes 2 hours of paid breaks per week).

• Day Shift:
  Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 3:00pm
  Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
• Rotating Shifts (Shift Roles Only):
  Early: Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 3:00pm | Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
  Late: Monday – Thursday: 2:30pm – 11:30pm | Friday: 11:30am – 5:30pm

Shift roles receive a premium of 9.45%, increasing pay to £14.20/hour
Pay & Progression:

• Starting salary: £28,353/year (£12.98/hour)
• Shift premium: Additional 9.4% = £14.20/hour for shift workers
• Potential salary uplift: Up to £31,637/year after successful probation (if made permanent)

Work Environment:

• Factory / Production setting – may involve exposure to dust, vapours, fumes, and noise, especially in the Powders area.
• All applicants would require a FLT Counterbalance licence (B1) for the purpose of collecting materials / ingredients to load up your own machinery
• Full PPE provided to meet safety standards.
