Quality Inspector

Monday - Friday 0830 -1700hrs ( 60 min unpaid lunch) - Office based role in state of the art offices in Tamworth , easily commutable with full parking available.

As a Quality Inspector you will enjoy a basic salary of £26,000 - £27,000 per annum - you will oversee supplier deliveries upon receipt and ensure goods received are fit for purpose and as ordered - Co-ordinate supplier deliveries and drivers on-site to ensure these are dealt with in a time efficient way and safety as a priority. The role of Quality Inspector monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products and relevant inputs throughout the product life cycle. Conducting inspections , analysing results and reporting issues of non-conformance - supporting investigation.

To be a success as a the NEW Quality Inspector we are looking for candidates who have the following attributes :-
* Proven working knowledge of the 7 principles of Quality Management 
* Commercial awareness and how quality performance and meeting standards affects the business
* Strong written , communication and literacy skills
* Ability to demonstrate credibility 
* Flexible but strong willed when required 
It would also be advantageous when coupled with a min of 2 years experience within a similar role , ideally from a manufacturing environment 
Knowledge and prior experience of management standards ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 & 45001- Does not compromise quality when under pressure 
Able to recognise the need for urgency at appropriate times.
