Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Day Driver to join our team based in Wigston, Leicester. This role involves general haulage work with a consistent weekday schedule and a manageable number of deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Class 2 day deliveries and collections
- Complete between 0–10 drops per shift
- Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and follow all transport regulations
- Some handballing may be required depending on the load
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Good timekeeping and a reliable attitude
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
