Job Overview
A reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver is required for day-shift work based in Hinckley. The role involves carrying out safe, efficient, and timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a 7.5T vehicle in compliance with company and road safety regulations
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Load and unload parcels safely and securely
- Complete multi-drop deliveries within the designated route and timeframe
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records using handheld devices
- Follow all site instructions and adhere to operational procedures
- Valid 7.5T (Category C1) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Tachograph card
- Previous experience in multi-drop or commercial driving preferred
- Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically fit and able to handle parcels when required
- Competitive pay rate of £16.05 per hour
