Location: Cardiff – Hybrid (once fully trained)
Pay Rate: £13.58 per hour
Contract: Temporary – ongoing assignment
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

Join a Supportive Team as a Gas Safety Administrator Are you detail-driven, organised, and confident communicating with others? We’re recruiting for a Gas Safety Administrator on behalf of one of our respected clients — a leading organisation within the utilities sector that’s committed to delivering safe and reliable services across the region.
In this role, you’ll support the Supply Point team, helping to ensure compliance with Gas Safety Regulations. Your work will involve coordinating engineer visits, updating systems, processing survey reports, and handling customer communication — playing a key role in keeping operations safe and running smoothly.
You’ll receive full training from day one, work in a friendly, professional environment, and have the opportunity to move to hybrid working once fully trained.

Key Responsibilities - Manage customer correspondence and organise engineer site visits
- Process survey reports and arrange service disconnections where necessary
- Interrogate internal systems to review supply point data
- Update company and industry databases accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with engineers, internal departments, and external stakeholders
- Handle customer queries and provide clear, professional responses via phone and email
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and contribute to quality audits
About You To be successful as a Gas Safety Administrator, you’ll bring:- Previous experience in administration or customer service
- Excellent attention to detail and a “right first time” approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Confident IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Office
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn (SAP and system training provided)
- An interest in or understanding of the gas or utilities sector (desirable but not essential)
