Job Description
Seasonal Shop Assistant
Location: Visitor Centre, Bwlch Nant y Arian
Full-Time (37 hours a week on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays)
Hourly Rate - £12.82
Job Purpose:
To provide a first point of contact for visitors and work in the shop, focusing on excellent customer service. You will collaborate with other members of the team to continuously improve the customer service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors by staffing the shop and provide information about the attractions and activities available both in-person, via phone, and through social media.
- Ensure that all interactions with the public reflect the best possible standards of customer care and service.
- Support the Visitor Centre team to enable more people to enjoy the benefits of access to the natural environment and help promote a better understanding of natural resources.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in Customer Care or Retail Management.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage with visitors and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
