The Role
As a Senior Commercial Account Handler, you’ll play a crucial role in a successful commercial broking team, ensuring quality customer service and technical excellence. You’ll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, support the field sales team and lead a team of 2 other Account Handlers, providing guidance and mentorship. Other duties include:

• Managing new business enquiries and client renewals and ensuring FCA compliance
• Handling client queries regarding policy coverage and amendments
• Develop and maintain relationships with key insurer markets
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products to existing clients
• Contribute to the team’s revenue goals through retention and new business acquisition

 
Our Ideal Candidate
As our ideal candidate, it goes without saying that you’ll be highly motivated, detail-oriented and passionate about delivering excellent client service. You’ll also be confident in handling complex commercial insurance policies, preferably with around 2 years’ experience in commercial account handling. You’ll also have:

• A Cert CII qualification (or the willingness to obtain this)
• Experience or knowledge of Acturis
• A strong understanding of commercial insurance products
• A proactive and positive attitude
