Trainee Sales Account Manager  – Redditch- £25,000-£27,000 per annum

Are you a driven and customer-focused individual with a passion for sales and relationship management? We’re looking for a proactive Account Manager to join our growing team in Redditch!
In this dynamic role, you’ll spend around 70% of your time managing and nurturing existing customer accounts and 30% generating new business through inbound sales enquiries and proactive outreach.
The Trainee Sales Account Manager will be responsible for
  • Managing and developing relationships with an existing customer base to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Responding promptly to inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Preparing professional and accurate quotations, product information, and follow-up communications.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell based on customer needs.
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities, including reactivating dormant accounts.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system and supporting the sales process end-to-end.
The successful Trainee Sales Account Manager will have the following skills and experience:
  • Proven experience in an Account Manager, Sales Executive, or similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you’re confident speaking with people at all levels.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail when preparing quotes and documentation.
  • Comfortable handling multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a B2B sales or technical product environment is desirable but not essential.
In return you can expect to receive a competitive basic salary of between £25,000-£27,000 depending on your previous skills and experience and a supportive team environment with full training provided.
