Job Title: Temporary Student Liaison OfficerLocation: Solihull
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and approachable
Student Liaison Officer to support our client in Solihull. The successful candidate will work face-to-face with college students, providing support, encouragement, and guidance to help them succeed in their studies and wider college life.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one and group support for students to encourage positive learning experiences.
- Act as the main point of contact between students, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and record student progress, identifying and addressing barriers to learning.
- Promote a supportive, inclusive, and motivating environment for learners.
- Contribute to reports and administrative duties as required.
Requirements:- Must hold, or be willing and able to pass, an Enhanced DBS check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with young people.
- Organised, proactive, and supportive with a genuine interest in education.
- Previous experience in a student support, mentoring, or liaison role is desirable but not essential.
