Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:45pm
Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
Overview
We’re seeking an experienced CNC Sliding Head Programmer to join a growing precision engineering team. You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating sliding head CNC machines using Fanuc controls to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate sliding head CNC machines (Fanuc)
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Manufacture precision components and carry out quality checks
- Monitor processes and report tooling requirements
- Maintain machine upkeep and a clean, safe workspace
- Follow and improve manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Proven CNC programming, setting & operating experience (sliding head preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
