We are recruiting a HR Advisor to support a family-run logistics business firm based in Wednesbury. The salary is from £32000 to £36000
The RoleWe’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to take end-to-end responsibility for HR activity within a dedicated business area. Acting as the main HR contact, you’ll provide hands-on advisory support, oversee HR operations, and partner with managers to deliver consistent, compliant and commercially focused people solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary HR contact for an allocated business area
- Lead employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability)
- Provide expert advice on complex and sensitive people matters
- Oversee HR operational activity, ensuring accurate and timely employee lifecycle processes
- Coach and support managers in effective people management
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal policies
- Support HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement
- Produce HR metrics and insights to identify trends and risks
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:- CIPD Level 5 qualified (minimum)
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident managing ER cases independently
- Experience working with HR administration or shared service models
- Strong relationship-building, communication and organisational skills
