CNC Programmer

We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a growing precision engineering team. You'll be responsible for creating, testing, and optimising CNC programs for milling and turning operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and top-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

" Develop and optimise CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidCAM).
" Set up, test, and fine-tune programs for CNC milling and turning centres.
" Work closely with machinists and engineers to improve tooling, setups, and production processes.
" Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
" Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.

About You

" Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision engineering environment.
" Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
" Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, or Heidenheim controls (or similar).
" Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
" Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
