Operations Account Manager
Location: Wednesbury
Salary: £30,000 (negotiable dependent on experience)
Monday to Friday fully office based (9am to 5pm)Are you a client-focused professional with a passion for operations and relationship management? We're looking for an Operations Account Manager to join our growing team and play a vital role in delivering outstanding service and driving continued business success.
In this dynamic role, you will act as the primary liaison between our clients and internal teams, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently, meet client expectations, and align with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities of the Operations Account Manager:- Act as the main point of contact for client queries, concerns, and ongoing needs
- Ensure accounts are serviced effectively, on budget, and in line with agreed expectations
- Maintain up-to-date client records, including contract changes and renewals
- Resolve client issues swiftly to maintain strong, long-term relationships
- Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance internal processes and service delivery
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement Attend and schedule regular client meetings to build rapport and explore new opportunities
- Communicate clearly and proactively, identifying and pursuing upselling or cross-selling potential
Requirements to be considered for the Operations Account Manager:- Proven experience in Account Management or client services
- Industry experience within Logistics or Distribution would be beneficial.
- Experience managing clients and multiple Accounts is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights (Excel proficiency essential)
- Confident in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking to support client growth
