Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking to work a 4 day week and seeking a fresh and challenging new role based in Dudley? If yes, we want to hear from you!

Annual Salary: £34,500 to £36,000 plus overtime
Hours of work: Mon to Thurs 6am to 4pm

Our Client is a world leader in forging and engineering. Globally renowned for open die forgings, heat treatment, machining, testing and steel stock.
Working as a Maintenance Engineer you will be joining an established, highly experienced team.

Your duties/ responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Maintain bespoke heavy press machines on all aspects, with a knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical and Electrical systems.
Responsible for PPM and fault finding
Maintain and repair Heavy Presses, CNC Machines and Forges
Always maintain a clean and safe workplace
Support and contribute to the area's lean assessment process with the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques to maintain and improve the processes within the area.
Check the output of the machines and identify any issues.

Qualifications Required:

City and Guilds Level 1,2 or3 in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent
FLT or Overhead Crane licences preferred but not essential.
