Permanent OpportunityAs a Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and machinery. If you have experience working within a maintenance team and planning within the food manufacturing industry then we would love to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner:-
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules for maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with various departments to plan and schedule work orders
- Supervise and manage the execution of maintenance plans
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and logic controllers
- Oversee project management activities related to maintenance projects
- Using the CMMS System ensure all data is up to date and current
- Working with the maintenance team produce weekly reports which include comprehensive Engineers schedules and activities each week.
Job Requirements of the Maintenance Planner:- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Experience working as a Maintenance Planner or scheduler
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to maintain and manage schedules effectively
- Experience with logic controllers is advantageous
- CMMS System or similar experience
- Able to schedule maintenance and keep on top of spares required and orders
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
