Position: Part-Time Receptionist
Location: Central Bristol
Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Pertemps is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Receptionist to join a leading legal firm in Central Bristol. The main purpose of this role is to support and assist the Office Manager in the delivery of professional legal services to the members, staff, pupils, and clients of the firm.

Salary: £15,000
25 days holiday, increasing by 1 day every three years up to a maximum of 28 days ( pro rota)

Main Duties:
Welcome visitors and announce their arrival to the appropriate barrister, clerk, or staff member.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area, ensuring up-to-date and relevant periodicals.
Answer, screen, and forward all calls, providing necessary information.
Manage the conference suite, including room allocation, room setup, and addressing visitor needs.
Book lunches for conferences based on barrister requirements and order refreshments for reception/kitchen.
Receive and handle incoming courier packages, dispatching as required.
Oversee the contract taxi service, log bookings accurately, and maintain records of department and personal journeys.
Monitor and log contract courier service bookings, record all journeys, and charge back individuals/departments.
Manage the ordering of conference lunches with suppliers, ensuring accurate record-keeping and invoice cross-checking.
Monitor and manage clerks' email inbox, forwarding emails to the necessary departments.
Arrange accommodations for barristers when traveling out of town.
Ensure functionality and updates of Chambers PCs in conference rooms.
Arrange and manage video and telephone conferencing, provide assistance, and oversee the use of interactive screens.
Monitor and track bookings for car parking spaces, inform security of visitor changes, and maintain financial reports for chargebacks.
Liaise with contractors on-site, in coordination with the Administrative Assistant.
Open and distribute incoming mail following Chambers policy guidelines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Sage Line Accounts is desirable.
