Job Description
We are currently recruiting for two experienced Polishers, or candidates with some experience operating a lathe, to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polishing metal components to a high-quality finish
- Operating lathe machines (where experience applies)
- Preparing parts for polishing and finishing processes
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Using hand tools and polishing equipment safely and effectively
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in polishing or lathe operation (essential for experienced candidates)
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and ability to meet production targets
- Willingness to learn and develop new skill
