Production Operative
Location: Birmingham (B6)
Pay Rate: Up to £14.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 07:00–16:30
Employment Type: Temporary | Full-Time

About the Role
Pertemps is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company in Birmingham. This position is ideal for a practical, hands-on individual looking to develop new skills in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist welders with daily production tasks
Interpret and follow technical drawings for on-site installations
Prepare and maintain workstations to ensure efficient work flow
Contribute to creating Standard Operating Procedures for the team
To liaise with management to effectively give updates and manage time lines for projects

What We’re Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Experience in leading a small team and managing workloads
Previous experience in a workshop or production environment is essential
