The Role
As Strategic Communications Manager, you'll shape and deliver multi-channel B2B communications that transform perceptions, attract investment, and amplify economic potential. You'll craft compelling stories, manage high-profile media relationships, and coordinate a small, talented communications team to deliver bold, consistent messaging across sectors from low carbon and tech to life sciences and advanced manufacturing.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement strategic communications plans that position the region as a prime location for growth and investment.

• Lead and mentor a small communications team, coordinating content planning and delivery.
• Work collaboratively with marketing, policy, and investment colleagues to ensure a cohesive voice across all channels.

• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills from press releases and speeches to long-form editorial.
