As a Trainee Field Service Technician, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of water treatment systems across the UK. With the support of experienced engineers, you will develop technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems, gaining valuable industry experience in a fast-growing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of water treatment systems.
• Support engineers in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits under supervision to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Learn to work with PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems used in water treatment plants.
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Gain hands-on experience working with various water treatment technologies, including filtration, reverse osmosis, and disinfection systems.
• Attend manufacturer training sessions and external courses to develop technical expertise.

What We Are Looking For:

• A passion for engineering and a willingness to learn.
• Training in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (formal qualification beneficial but not essential).
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems (previous hands-on experience beneficial but not essential).
• A keen interest in water treatment and sustainability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one).
