About the Role:Our client is seeking a Field Support Representative to provide cover for Stores Envoys and support stores at client sites across the UK & Ireland. The primary goal is to ensure the continuous provision of high service levels with minimal impact on client operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide cover for Stores personnel
- Receive deliveries and put stock away in predetermined storage locations
- Issue stock products
- Assist clients in the selection of goods, advising on cost-effective alternatives
- Initiate and conclude all customer/vendor returns
- Conduct rotational stock checks
- Perform progressing and associated duties as required for the site
- Identify cost-saving measures for the client
- Drive continuous improvements in engineering stores
- Maintain store standards according to Opex requirements
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist with specific project work
- Train and develop Store Envoys as needed
- Maintain required H&S site requirements, including reporting near misses
- Share best practices with sites when covering
- Complete handover documents for Envoy's return
- Communicate and liaise with the Client and relevant COMs
- Perform other reasonable management requests to assist the business or client
Candidate Requirements:- Excellent client-facing and attention to detail skills
- Good working knowledge of stores and inventory management
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages
- Knowledge of SAP
- Full driving license
- Forklift Truck License
- Knowledge of Industrial Consumables/MRO market and engineering products
- Basic general PC skills (Microsoft programs)
- Experience in a commercial, distribution, industrial, or engineering environment
