We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives for our client in the North Birmingham area, easily accessible from the likes of Erdington, Castle Vale and Sutton Coldfield. This will be a long-term permanent position working for a leading third-party logistics company involved in the distribution of premium alcohol products.
To apply for the post, we will require a minimum of 12 months experience in a pick/pack environment, and the knowledge of using hand-held RF scan guns. You will ideally have a background as a Stores Operative and will be comfortable lifting products of up to 15kg.

We will also require some type of MHE experience, whether this is a Counterbalance forklift or a LLOP / PPT.
This Is a fast-paced environment and as such we are looking for people who are comfortable meeting strict KPI targets, and who can integrate well into a team environment.

Hours of work: 10:00am - 19:00pm Monday to Friday
Rate of pay: £11,44 per hour (overtime premiums also available)

The main duties of our Warehouse Operative / Order Picker role include:
- Picking / packing alcohol products with a handheld scanner
- Loading and unloading containers as required
- Carrying out basic logistics paperwork as required
- Labelling and palletising stock
- General housekeeping of the shop floor

All applicants must have the following attributes:

- 12 months or more experience as a Warehouse Operative
- Ability to work with alcohol products
- Comfortable with lifting up to 15kg regularly
- Good work ethic / positive team attitude
- Ability to meet strict pick targets
- Flexible attitude to overtime

The site location is easily accessible by both car or public transport, but ideally we will be seeking candidates from the North of Birmingham for ease with travel.
