Postal Collections Driver

The Royal Mail are looking for flexible Collections Drivers to work on a temporary and ongoing basis. This is your opportunity to have a real impact, in the heart of your community, while working for one of the UK's most well-loved brands. You will be based at a Birmingham delivery office and must be flexible to work the below hours.

Details of the role:

- Monday to Friday rota working 25-30 hours per week
- £13.37 per hour
- Working hours: 15:00-19:00 (can occasionally change to 14:30-18:30)
- Collecting post from pillar boxes, businesses, and post offices


You will be responsible for collecting post quickly and efficiently, by driving on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service.


Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Collection workers to be a part of this world-class service, supporting a busy period.

As a Postal Collections worker, you will need the following:

- Full UK Driving licence, with no more than six points
- Excellent customer service skills
- Upbeat and self-motivated
- Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather
- Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role
- Excellent organisational skills
- Resilience and flexibility
