Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals with a background in engineering or machining to secure long-term, ongoing work within a well-established and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machinery in line with production specifications
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Carry out quality checks to maintain high manufacturing standards
- Perform basic maintenance and adjustments as required
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
- Proven experience as a machinist or within an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, team-focused, and flexible approach
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern - rotating days and nights (12-hour shifts)
- £12.50 per hour to start – Training Rate
- Parity pay after 12 weeks, with rates increasing to around £20+ per hour depending on grade
- Long-term ongoing work with immediate starts available
