Job Title: Punch Press Setter

Location: Newtown, Birmingham

Shifts: Monday to Thursday - 07:30 AM to 16:15 PM
Friday - 07:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Pay: £14 per hour

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Punch Press Setter to join a leading manufacturing company based in Newtown, Birmingham. As a Punch Press Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating punch presses to produce high-quality parts for the production lines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate punch press machines according to specifications
• Monitor the production process to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery
• Inspect finished parts for quality and precision
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Punch Press Setter or in a similar manufacturing role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Good understanding of machine operations and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work the required shifts
