Job Description
An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious national clients based in Walsall has become available and we are currently looking for HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing work.
The role will entail and not limited to:
- Driving C+E vehicles
- Collecting/Delivering loads to RDC’s/NDC’s
- Trunking Work
- Trailer swapping
- Pay rate - £17.90ph
- Overtime rate - £26.85ph (after 8 hours worked)
- Saturday rate - £19.60
- Sunday Rate - £20.63
- Start times available 03:00, 04:00, 21:00 and 22:00.
- Friday to Monday shift patterns preferred
- Block bookings in advance
- Subsidised Canteen on site
To be considered for this HGV Class 1 drivers role you will need:
- Category C+E (held for minimum 2 years)
- Minimum 6 Months C+E driving experience.
- Valid Tahco and DQC cards
- Clean driving license (desirable)
- Experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Able to successfully complete client driving assessment
- Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
