Maintenance Engineer

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company who operate an off-site manufacturing plant dedicated to producing insulated wall panels and roof cassettes, offering fabric-first solutions for new home construction. Located near Birmingham City Centre.

Your main responsibility will be to investigate, prevent, and repair equipment breakdowns to ensure the continuous productivity of our plant.

Daily Duties Include:

• Stripping, fault finding, and re-assembling machines
• Reading engineering drawings to identify issues
• Conducting preventative service and maintenance to minimise downtime
• Installing and commissioning new equipment
• Adhering to Health & Safety policies
•  Providing detailed reports on work carried out
• Ensuring parts inventory is well-stocked
• Robotic experience would be an advantage

The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual with a proven track record as a Maintenance Engineer.
Hours of work are, working on a three week rotating shift pattern, mornings afternoons and nights Monday - Friday.

£20.77 per hour
