Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of a long-established manufacturing company for a reliable and hardworking Press Shop Operative. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating press machines within a busy manufacturing environment
- Loading and unloading materials and components
- Performing basic quality checks on finished parts
- Working to production targets and meeting deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Reporting any defects or machine issues to the supervisor
- Supporting general duties within the press shop as required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a press shop or manufacturing setting (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Good understanding of basic health and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
