Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong credit control, accounts receivable, or finance administration experience, ideally with knowledge of Sage accounting software.
Job Description – Credit Controller
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring timely payments and maintaining healthy cash flow. This is a full-time, office-based role with regular Monday to Friday hours (9am–5pm).
Duties include:
- Managing customer accounts and chasing outstanding debts
- Processing and reconciling accounts using Sage
- Contacting clients by phone and email to recover overdue payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records and producing credit reports
- Supporting the wider finance team with month-end processes
- Previous experience in credit control / accounts receivable / collections
- Strong working knowledge of Sage software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail with ability to prioritise workload
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- £13.00 per hour pay rate
- Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (no weekends)
- Temp to Perm position
- Work within a supportive finance team in a global business
