About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a major logistics company. This is a temporary opportunity within a fast-paced transport operation, supporting the smooth running of daily logistics activities.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and experience in a transport or warehouse environment, who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the day-to-day transport operation
- Booking deliveries and coordinating schedules
- Liaising with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues efficiently
- Managing and processing transport documentation (PODs, delivery notes, etc.)
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with driver briefings and debriefings
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics administration role preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- IT literate, including Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
