Job Description
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (after 12 weeks)
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier in Trafford Park. This is a night shift role in a fast-paced warehouse environment, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods
- Moving stock within the warehouse using Reach and Counterbalance trucks
- Picking, packing, and staging orders
- Carrying out routine equipment checks
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures and site policies
Requirements:
- Valid Reach Truck Licence (essential)
- Valid Counterbalance Licence (essential)
- Experience driving Double Pallet Forklifts (preferable but training can be provided)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
