Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role after 10 weeks.
This role is predominantly Class 2 driving (around 90%), with a small amount of Class 1 work required from time to time. Occasionally, you may also be required to drive a manual 7.5-tonne vehicle.
5 days per week Mon-Fri
Job Details:
- General haulage work
- Palletised deliveries with some handball involved
- Up to 10 drops per day
- One night out per week (vehicles are fully equipped for overnight stays)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
- Clean driving licence
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Class 1 advantageous)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Comfortable with handball and multi-drop work
- Reliable and professional approach
