HGV Class 1 Evening Shunter

Pertemps Southampton are looking for a Evening HGV Class 1 Shunter to start a permanent contract with our Client in Totton ASAP!

You will be responsible for manoeuvring trailers around the yard and reversing into the warehouse at the end of the night as well as helping load trailers and strapping loads. 

Drivers will also be using a Forklift Counterbalance to load vehicles. Training for counterbalance can be provided. 

£40,000 p.a. PAYE
16:00pm – 01:00am
5 shifts per Sun/Mo/Tues/Wed/Thurs
 
Role requires Candidates to have a base line of physical fitness due to the manual handling when not driving. 

All Candidates must have:
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts)
- Valid HGV Class 1 Qualification (6 months experience desired)
- Forklift Counterbalance (desired, but training can be provided)
- Valid CPC/Digi Tacho
- Safety Boots & High Vis
