Accounts Manager
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Manager to join an established engineering company in the heart of Southampton. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong understanding of business accounts and day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities as an Accounts Manager: - Posting purchase and sales invoices using Sage
- Raising sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate business accounts and financial records
- Supporting general accounts administration and reporting
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes
Requirements - AAT qualified (essential)
- Previous experience in an accounts role
- Strong understanding of business accounts fundamentals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using Sage accounting software
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
The Accounts Manager role: - £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 1.30pm
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
