Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Salary: £15.00 per hour
Contract Type: temp to Permanent
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy steelworks team in Eastleigh. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in safety and efficiency.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00 (rotating weekly)
- 1 in every 3 Saturdays (paid at time and a half)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in a busy environment
- Load and unload materials efficiently and accurately
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely
- Carry out routine safety checks and maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts
- Relevant forklift certification (Counterbalance)
- Strong focus on health & safety
- Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional Saturdays
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
