Job Title: Mail Sorter
Location: Warrington WA5 3UY
Start Date: October 2024
Contract Length: 8 weeks initially
Pay Rates: Early shift- £12.54 / Late Shift- £13.90 / Night Shift - £15.11
Shifts: 

•        Twilight shift, Tuesday to Saturday (various hours available)
•        Late Shift, Monday to Sunday (various hours available)
•        Night Shift (various hours available)

You can fix to one of the following available shifts:

Twilight Shift – which can start from 03:00am
Late Shift – which can start from 14:30hrs
Night Shift – which can start from 21:00hrs
 
Must complete 3-4 shifts per week minimum and be flexible to overtime.

If successful, you must be able to pass a disclosure check.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Sorting incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and parcels with precision
• Unloading mail and parcels from delivery vans efficiently
• Moving items around our warehouse environment to ensure smooth operations
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency at all times
• Working collaboratively to meet tight deadlines in a bustling atmosphere
• Handling trolleys and lifting heavy bags to keep our postal services running smoothly
• Keeping your workspace tidy and organized to enhance productivity
• Contributing positively as a key team member and supporting colleagues
• Undertaking any other duties as needed to support our operations

Due to the depot’s location, all applicants must have their own transport to get to the site.
 
For this role, all successful applicants will be subject to security clearances and checks, including the right to work, background checks and reference checks.
