Health & Safety Coordinator – Entry Level Location: Stratford‑upon‑Avon or Adderbury
Salary: From £26,000 DOE
Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent (with training & qualifications provided)
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic
Health & Safety Coordinator to join a growing organisation with sites in
Stratford‑upon‑Avon and / or Adderbury. This is an excellent
entry‑level opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in Health & Safety. Full training, development support, and funded qualifications (such as IOSH or NVQ pathways) will be provided.
This role is ideal for someone highly organised, proactive, and confident communicating with people at all levels. You’ll play a key part in supporting the Health & Safety Manager and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operation of the H&S management system.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update H&S records including risk assessments, COSHH, training logs, and incident reports
- Manage document control and ensure accurate filing on shared systems
- Track review dates, actions, and follow‑ups across multiple sites
- Support training coordination, induction processes, and competency tracking
- Assist with accident, incident, and near‑miss documentation
- Coordinate routine checks, audits, inspections, and safety activities
- Maintain COSHH registers and Safety Data Sheet libraries
- Update noticeboards and support internal H&S communication
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the H&S Manager
- Help improve systems, templates, and processes
What We’re Looking For
Essential:- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and shared document platforms
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, trackers, and deadlines
- A genuine interest in developing a career in Health & Safety
Desirable:- Previous experience in administration or H&S
- Experience maintaining logs, records, or audit documentation
Development & Progression- No H&S qualifications required to apply
