Food Technology Teacher

Food Technology Teacher required to teach small classes of students with Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Are you a Food Technology Teacher looking for a new challenge? This wonderful SEMH School is looking to add an experienced Food Technology Teacher or Food Technology instructor to the team on an ongoing basis.

As a Food Technology Teacher you will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students with challenging behaviours and SEMH needs. This role requires a teacher with a calm approach to classroom management, and someone who has a genuine love for teaching Food Technology. This role is suitable for a QTS Food Technology Teacher or an experienced instructor.
Job Role:

• Teaching Food Technology to Students with additional needs
• Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students
• Liaising with the leadership to manage classroom behaviours
• Making school a welcoming, safe and engaging environment
• Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers
