What you’ll be doing as an Innovation Project Manager

• Manage multiple projects and work streams across the innovation portfolio.
• Support in aspects of governance, benefit realisation, risk, and lessons learned in consultation with Thames Waters Project Management practices and processes.
• Work closely with the Innovation Engagement Delivery Manager to develop and enhance Project Management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms.
• Build strong relationships with key organisational stakeholders.
• Ensure that projects are aligned with Thames Water's strategic goals and deliver tangible business value.
• Track and report on project performance, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
• Oversee the design and implementation of detailed work plans and packages following the developed scope and schedule.

Hybrid—R&D Office, Reading Sewage Treatment Works: Your role may require you to be in the office once a fortnight, and for the rest of the week, you will work remotely.

This role will be work 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday

What you should bring to the role of Project Manager

• Proven Project Management experience
• Qualified in APM or PRINCE2 or equivalent.
• Background of working in a technical environment.
• Proficiency with Project Management Software
• Stakeholder management experience
• Strong communication skills
