We seek a highly organized and proactive
PMO Coordinator to join our Product & Change department within Retail. This exciting role offers the opportunity to be at the heart of delivering transformative initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
What you will be doing as a PMO Coordinator?You will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within the Change & Product portfolio. Working closely with the PMO Lead, PMO Manager, and Project Managers, you will ensure strong governance, financial accuracy, and alignment across initiatives while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Risk and Issues Management Collaborate with the PMO Lead and Project Managers to identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and enhance overall portfolio resilience.
- Financial Oversight Support the PMO Lead in managing the Product & Change CAPEX budget, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and reconciliation in line with financial timelines.
- Benefits Tracking Assist in identifying, monitoring, and reporting financial and non-financial benefits, ensuring precise data for decision-making.
- Performance Reporting Coordinate monthly performance reporting for Product & Change, ensuring timely and high-quality inputs for performance review meetings.
- Roadmap and Project Planning Assist Project Managers in maintaining project-specific plans, Action, Assumption, and Dependency logs alongside organising meetings and taking minutes.
- Resource Planning: Assist in managing resource planning and allocation by consolidating inputs from project managers, including defined resource needs and capacity assumptions. Monitor resource utilisation and availability within projects to ensure efficient use and alignment with project priorities.
- Procurement Management Oversee the shopping cart and purchase order processes, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and efficient tracking.
- Process Alignment Work across the PMO function and wider Product & Change teams to drive consistency and efficiency in processes.
- Knowledge Sharing Promote best practices and a culture of collaboration to enhance team effectiveness.
Base location: Hybrid - Walnut Court - SN2 8BN or Hybrid - Clearwater Court - RG1 8DB.
Hours: 36 hours per week Monday to Friday.
What you should bring to the role:- Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing and collaboration skills, with experience working across delivery and operational teams.
- PMO and Project Management Experience: Familiarity with Agile practices and financial/benefit tracking.
- RAID Management Expertise: Experience in risk and issue management methodology to monitor risks, threats, and opportunities effectively.
- Collaborative Mindset: A proactive problem solver who thrives on teamwork and alignment.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and workload prioritization to ensure deadlines are met.
- Process Improvement: A commitment to driving efficiency and innovation in ways of working.
- Excel Skills: Proficient in using Excel and PowerPoint.
What’s in it for you?- Competitive Salary of £38,000 and up to £45,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
- Annual Leave - Grade B – 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
