Sheridan Maine are pleased to be working with a leading organisation based in Hampshire who are recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The role will provide vital support to the Financial Controller, ensuring timely and accurate management accounts and the facilitation of financial budgets and forecasting.
The client is seeking a qualified AAT or part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA candidate who has a background in financial analysis and providing commercial finance support to stakeholders across a range of business areas.
Primary duties of the Management Accountant will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Profit and Loss review and analysis
- Assisting the budget and forecasting process
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- Produce and develop financial analysis and reporting
- Liaise with department heads to discuss financial performance
- Provide ongoing mentoring support to junior team members
This fantastic role requires an individual with prior management accounts experience as well as good analytical and IT skills. Intermediate/ advanced Excel would be desirable and the successful candidate will have the capability to meet deadlines and enjoy working as part of a friendly and motivated team.
