Apprenticeship Operations Manager
Salary: £63,000 per annum
Car Allowance: £6,400 per annum
Benefits: 25 days’ annual leave (rising to 30 with service) plus bank holidays, healthcare, a generous pension scheme, and hybrid flexible working.

About the Role
We are seeking an Apprenticeship Operations Manager to take a leading role in the successful delivery of apprenticeship programmes. Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, you will:
• Lead operational delivery to achieve high levels of learner and employer satisfaction.
• Develop strategies to drive business growth, enhance quality, and support learner success.
• Build senior-level partnerships with funding agencies, industry federations, and delivery partners to maximise opportunities.
• Manage and inspire teams to foster a culture of inclusion, development, and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with funding, contractual, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align operations with organisational goals and industry demands.
What We’re Looking For in the Apprenticeship Operations Manager
Essential Requirements:
• Significant senior leadership experience in the Apprenticeships or Further Education (FE) sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading initiatives focused on learning, development, and talent management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of apprenticeship delivery, including Scottish Apprenticeship Funding rules.
• Proven ability to manage performance effectively, including managing teams and supporting managers to achieve their goals.
• Experience managing budgets and overseeing geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong background in applying continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operations and outcomes.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities and the capability to build and maintain impactful relationships.
• Full UK Driving Licence with the flexibility to travel extensively across Scotland.
Additional Requirements:
• National travel with occasional overnight stays.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory employment checks.
