Transport Planner to join our client’s dynamic team based in the

permanent position. As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and services, supporting the overall logistics and transport operations.
Key Responsibilities for a Transport Planner role:- You will need you to plan and optimise transport routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- You will monitor and manage the daily transport schedule, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- You will liaise with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, vehicles, and transport schedules will be a key responsibility.
- You will track and report on the performance of transport operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- I expect you to ensure the efficient use of vehicles, making sure they are properly maintained and well-managed.
- You will also manage any delays or operational issues, working to resolve them promptly and effectively.
Skills and Requirements for a Transport Planner:- You should have proven experience as a Transport Planner or in logistics coordination.
- Strong organisational skills are essential, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
- You will need to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are key.
- A good knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards is required.
- Experience with transport management software would be an advantage.
- You should be a team player with a proactive approach, willing to support colleagues.
Details of this Transport Planner role:- Salary: £28,000 per annum.
- Temp to perm role
- Free onsite parking
- Rotational shift patten 7:00-15:00 and 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday
