Maintenance Operative
Location: Banbury
Hours: 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3pm Friday
Pay Rate: £13.50, rising to £14.41 after the successful qualifying period.
Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance/Yard Operative to join our client on an ongoing assignment in Banbury.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you’ll play a key part in supporting refurbishment and upkeep tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general maintenance and refurbishment duties
Stripping out old fittings and furnishings
Cleaning and preparing areas for reuse
Installing, trimming, and replenishing new materials
Performing varied repair and maintenance tasks as required

Supporting with refurbishment works to ensure high-quality finishes
Ensuring work areas are kept tidy and safe
Working outside in all weather conditions

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a maintenance role is advantageous but not essential
Previous experience with carpentry is an advantage
Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
