Job Title: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Tipton, West Midlands
Hours: Day Shift, Mon to Thurs - 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2pm
Salary: £15 - £18 p/h. (Weekend Overtime Available)

I am delighted to be recruiting for welder/fabricator for our client based in Tipton, West Midlands in the structural steel industry.

My client is a leading structural steel contractor based in Tipton, West Midlands. The company operates a 25,000 square foot facility and specializes in designing, detailing, fabricating, and erecting steel structures.
They serve a wide range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare, and is known for its expertise in handling complex projects.

The company is accredited to Execution Class 3 and prides itself on delivering high-quality, CE-certified steelwork with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.


The successful candidate would come from a structural steel background with a minimum of 3 years of relevant MIG welding and fabrication.

Working as part of the production team making you would be responsible for manufacturing a range of standard and non-standard parts to drawing on time and to a high standard of work.

* Please not this role is not limited to fabricating / welding and will cover all areas of fabrication of structural steelwork.

The ideal candidate will be able to display the following:

• Proven history of fabrication/welding within the structural steel or relevant industry.
• Methodical and systematic process with a high level of detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a production team, while tsking individual responsibility for work produced.
• High regard to health and safety.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read from engineering/fabrication drawings.
