Quantity Surveyor (Hotels New Builds and Extensions)
Birmingham
£45K - £55K Per annum

Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor / Employer’s Agent looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join our growing hotel and leisure team based in Birmingham!

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in the hotel/leisure industry
Completed APC or on the path to completion
Self-motivated with own transport and willingness to travel nationwide
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong client-facing skills
Effective problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
Team player with minimal supervision
Flexible and able to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities:

Manage estimating and cost planning activities
Apply value management techniques
Liaise with clients and design teams
Monitor on-site progress and attend site meetings
Answer queries and issue variations
Conduct cost reporting and ensure compliance with client requirements
Place and coordinate FF&E orders
Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow
Ensure timely and accurate applications
Negotiate and agree on final accounts
Coordinate successful and timely practical completion

Flexible working hours (Monday to Thursday: 7.5 hours, Friday: 6.5 hours)
